This site is run by North Star Consultants Ltd. This page explains, in plain English, what data is collected when you visit and how it's used. If anything's unclear, email janis@northstarconsultantsltd.com.
With your consent, this site uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it — for example, how many people visit, which pages they look at, and which buttons they click. This helps me improve the site. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to do this.
Analytics only runs if you click "Accept" on the cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is collected. Your choice is remembered on your device so you're not asked every visit. IP addresses are anonymised.
If you use a "Book a chat" or email button, you'll be taken to Calendly (to book a time) or your own email app (to write to me). Any details you choose to share there — your name, email, and what you tell me about your business — are used only to respond to you and discuss working together. They aren't sold or shared, and I don't add you to any marketing list without asking.
Two external services may process limited data when you use the site: Google Analytics (only with consent, as above) and Calendly (only if you click to book a chat, at which point their own privacy terms apply). The site itself is hosted on Netlify.
